Blogging influences
I set up a blog for Nacro, a mixture of articles from staff, mainly policy experts, and external commissions, to promote its influencing agenda with politicians and the media.
I trained staff to blog on their specialist issues and developed guidelines to help them navigate social media from a corporate perspective. To drive traffic, I first built up a Twitter following, as many of our audiences were using it. With the General Election 2010 as a hook, I used a corporate account, supplemented by several individuals also tweeting for the organisation.
